Beast...Joker!?
[Doll is making her way through the crowds, being pushed and shoved around easily considering her small stature.]
Are any of you 'ere? [jostled again] 'scuse me.
Dagger? Jumbo?! [craning her neck, trying to see over the other people as she continues calling out her siblings' names in the hopes at least one of them will be there and hear her. She looks pretty tired, considering she spent much of the previous day looking for them as well]
If only I could see t'least one of 'em for a few minutes, t'know they're alright. [spoken to herself, low but not low enough for the device she doesn't know is recording not to capture it.]
((ooc: open for fourth walling! Network or action (just...don't hurt her |D). Anything goes, just no spoiling her past the point she's from i.e. chapter 28.))

{a pause, looking around them}
When we're not here, don' go forgetting what you know when we are, alright? You're the princess a our show, Doll. Don' be listenin' to men who don't know what they're speakin' on.

[Still keeping her eyes on Wendy's face.]
Yeah, I...I know. [a small smile that she's trying to keep from becoming sad. It was hard to remember without them around her.] Thanks, Wendy.

No need, Doll.
Now, see 'ere. Show me 'round, won't you?

[Getting up and looking around, wondering where to take her first.]
Can show you the apartment where 'm stayin' - you can meet Tiger! - an' the circus. The orphanage an' the gardens an' the Welcome Centre, maybe, Penny's usually there.

Show me it all, alrigh'?

[choosing the apartment first, making sure Wendy with her shorter stride can keep up.]
no subject
Been livin' 'ere?

[Doll's used to the apartment building by now, but she used to find it very strange when she first arrived. She unlocks her apartment's door, standing by to grab Tiger when the puppy makes an excited dash towards them as soon as the door is open.]

{Good thing Wendy's quick on her feet, or maybe bad that it shows off how on guard she is, when she quickly sidesteps back in to the hallway until Doll has the dog under control until she steps in to look around}
no subject
Easy, boy, easy! [laughing] He gets excited easy.
D'you like it? [It's not large for an apartment, but much bigger than what they're used to. It's also very neatly kept, besides a few well-chewed toys for Tiger strewn about the floor.]

{She looks about, poking curiously at the modern appliances}

[She sets Tiger down again, and he eagerly runs around Wendy, sniffing at her feet curiously]
Oh...s'called a fridge! Keeps food cold, so it don' go bad for ages. There's these others too...[explaining the appliances one by one] Took me an' Beast a while t'figure 'em out.

{it does show- she's out of her element, that's for sure, as much as she's trying to remain the big sister that she is}
no subject
[Wendy'll never be anything less than her big sister to Doll, no matter the circumstances.]
no subject
{she's still trying to work through it, too, all of this... it's obviously real, but-}

[It's making her happy, to share these things with another of her siblings.]

[leading her to a room down a short corridor. There's a neatly made bed, some of Doll's clothes lying around, a circus costume tidily hung up. There's a dog basket in the corner too, even if usually Tiger sleeps at the foot of her bed. A small desk in the corner has some books piled up on it, a few scraps of paper next to them with untidy letters repeated over and over, where she'd been practising reading and writing. There's not much else, but more than she'd have kept back home.]

It's nice an' homey, Doll. I like it.

[Nodding in return and smiling. It was good to have her big sister's approval.]
