[Doll's curled up cosily on a sofa in the apartment she used to share with Penny, a mug of hot chocolate warming her hands and Tiger in her lap. All the other pets that she and her friend had accumulated over time were around them too, their other dog John at the foot of the sofa and Doris the duck waddling along its back, not to mention a guinea pig and a rabbit half-hidden underneath a cushion, noses twitching. They don't always get along this well but for once it seems they've settled down into a comfortable shared companionship.

Or it could just be the extra treats Doll gave them in honour of the holiday.]

I 'ope all the others are 'avin' a 'appy new year, wherever they are. Joker an' Beast an' all the others back 'ome, an' Penny an' Alma an' everyone who's left 'ere... [Laughing a bit at herself.] Of course it probably ain't even the new year where they are, but... [she scratches Tiger behind his ears, grinning as he pressing his head into her palm] I wish 'em one anyway.

[she starts a bit and then looks down at the device, realizing it was up to its old tricks again.] 'ey there, Rose! Yeah, yer right, it might be. I 'ope they are, I 'ope they're 'avin' a lovely time.

[she chuckles and gathers Tiger closer] Think they're missin' Penny as much as I am, so we're all keepin' each other company.

Me too, but...at least it does mean we won't 'ave been missed back 'ome. Still, it keeps on confusin' me even after all this time 'ere.

Say- what's your home like?

What's it like? Well...depends where you go, really. Foggy an' cold a lot of the time, an' it's all 'orses an' carriages instead of those newfangled cars everyone's got 'ere. Ain't like the City at all, even if London feels just as busy sometimes.

Never really got to use 'em so I can't say I miss 'em much! It'd be fun to go 'orse ridin' again some time though.
