[Doll is making her way through the crowds, being pushed and shoved around easily considering her small stature.]

Are any of you 'ere? [jostled again] 'scuse me.

Dagger? Jumbo?! [craning her neck, trying to see over the other people as she continues calling out her siblings' names in the hopes at least one of them will be there and hear her. She looks pretty tired, considering she spent much of the previous day looking for them as well]

If only I could see t'least one of 'em for a few minutes, t'know they're alright. [spoken to herself, low but not low enough for the device she doesn't know is recording not to capture it.]

Ah... I take it that your ordinary life is not quite as exciting as being a pirate on the open sea, or being constantly exposed to many hundreds of different worlds?

Well, it ain't borin', but it ain't that excitin' either. A travellin' circus gets its own share of adventures though.

Oh my- a circus? It were ages since I saw one of those~ my captain ran afoul of a wicked clown-pirate once upon a time and ever since they have not looked upon those places with gentle eyes, but I simply adore them! With clowns and festive acrobats and those strange little lifeboats who somehow manage to fit in so many performers at the same time-

Oh...well, the circus 'ere ain't the same as at 'ome, but you're welcome t'come an' see us anyway! S'great bein' part of the show.

I would very much like to see that... but I am afraid it will not be possible. I believe my time here is, ah, rather limited.

Yeah...forgot that for a moment. Well, if you're ever 'ere again, the invitation's still open!

I shall keep it in mind! I believe I have already been here before, but it is rather difficult keeping track when it only lasts for a day... I bounce between quite a lot of places after all, hard to keep all these islands and cities and prison camps and mental hospitals and the places where the ground consists of flesheating tendrilbeasts and the sky glows with the lethal rays of a black sun searing the skin of those unfortunate enough to wander 'neath it... although that one place was rather distinctive...

Blimey, don' you get tired of all that? An' those places don' sound all that great either.

Having been away from home for years wears somewhat on the spirit, I admit that... but I am seldom bored in these places, not when there are so many new friends to make and care for.

Besides, as a pirate my home is where my crew is. And much of my crew is with me in the place I currently stay in.

No...they were just 'ere for the day. My sis was 'ere with me for a while but she went back 'ome. Don' think any of 'em are stayin'.

S'alright...I mean, I know I'll see 'em again when I get back. An' I'm gettin' by 'ere for now. Even if I hate not being with 'em. We ain't been apart since I was still really little.

Knowing that someone is waiting for you is the greatest comfort a human being can ever know, lady Doll. Take it from someone who has kept a friend of his waiting for a... very long time, now. No matter how bad it gets, and no matter how much it hurts not being with them... it will all be worth it when you reunite once more.

Yoohohoho, how fortunate then that we are of the same opinion~! It would hardly do to get into debates when I have barely been here less than a day!

I would hardly be a gentleman if I did not do my best to get along with the people around me~. I prefer to make friendly acquaintances to enemies where I go since living on the outskirts of society only makes it even more necessary to be friendly to those in the same boat as you, so to speak.

Know what you mean. S'hard enough to make friends when you're travellin' all the time without goin' around upsettin' people. S'much easier t'just try an' get along with everyone.

Mmm... I suppose that is one thing these strange places have going for them. There is seldom, at least in my own 'home away from home' any dangers or factors pitting people against one another. For beong so strange, they can often be strangely peaceful... mostly.

Mostly...some of the curses 'ere do make people 'urt each other. Really hate it when that 'appens.
