Beast...Joker!?
[Doll is making her way through the crowds, being pushed and shoved around easily considering her small stature.]
Are any of you 'ere? [jostled again] 'scuse me.
Dagger? Jumbo?! [craning her neck, trying to see over the other people as she continues calling out her siblings' names in the hopes at least one of them will be there and hear her. She looks pretty tired, considering she spent much of the previous day looking for them as well]
If only I could see t'least one of 'em for a few minutes, t'know they're alright. [spoken to herself, low but not low enough for the device she doesn't know is recording not to capture it.]
((ooc: open for fourth walling! Network or action (just...don't hurt her |D). Anything goes, just no spoiling her past the point she's from i.e. chapter 28.))

Date: 2009-11-14 12:25 am (UTC)In our camp, the power of the camp can alter an individuals mental and physical age and body at will to produce, well, largely random and nonsensical results. One can be turned into an animal or even a plant at any moment, but such things are often rather harmless...
Worse than those by far, are the "Wolf games".

Date: 2009-11-14 12:57 am (UTC)Which you are correct to do, my lady. Fifteen... sometimes more, are randomly chosen. A few are picked to be 'wolves', and others are sheep. Every day that the game is active, the wolves must attempt to, with guile and cunning, to vote out one of the sheep and the sheep must attempt to find out who among them are wolves and vote them out. And at the end of the day... the one who was voted on will be killed. And withdrawn from the game.

Date: 2009-11-15 12:55 am (UTC)Of course, all who 'die' are resurrected at the end of the game. The first time it happened it was simply their minds who died, and the bodies of the losers fell into a coma. But recently the game happened again, and this time... those who died were killed.

Date: 2009-11-15 10:51 pm (UTC)There are people in every world, I have learned, who thrive upon hurting others and spreading misery wherever they go. Perhaps they were hurt themselves as young, hurt so bad that there was no other way for them to grow but wicked. Perhaps they are simply too deluded by their own beliefs to see how much they are truly hurting others. But whatever the reason the facts still remain that for every caring and good heart in the world, there will be one equally as wicked.

Date: 2009-11-18 01:13 am (UTC)I could never throw away all the people I have met on this journey. It may have been strange, painful and fearsome at times, but... it was worth it.
It was worth it all.

Date: 2009-11-19 12:17 am (UTC)But, if you will excuse me I... think I am feeling my time here draw to an end. I think there are still things I would like to see before that happens though, so... bon voyage from here on out, should we never meet again.
