[Doll is making her way through the crowds, being pushed and shoved around easily considering her small stature.]

Are any of you 'ere? [jostled again] 'scuse me.

Dagger? Jumbo?! [craning her neck, trying to see over the other people as she continues calling out her siblings' names in the hopes at least one of them will be there and hear her. She looks pretty tired, considering she spent much of the previous day looking for them as well]

If only I could see t'least one of 'em for a few minutes, t'know they're alright. [spoken to herself, low but not low enough for the device she doesn't know is recording not to capture it.]

I...s'hard to 'xplain. S'called the City an' I know it sounds crazy but there's people from different worlds 'ere. 've been 'ere months an' months...'ve missed you all so much!

[lifting her shoulders in an "I really don't know" pose]

I know it don'...this place don' make sense at all.

[she's splitting her time between smiling at her and making sure no one bumps into the smaller girl.]

Guess I am, mostly. [She looks thinner and tired, but happy now at least.]

Yeah, 'course! There's a circus 'ere too, been workin' there almost since I arrived.

Was the first one t'get 'ere...then Joker arrived, then Beast. But 'e left again soon, an' Beast left a couple of weeks ago.

[Sitting down next to her, looking at the crowds of people in awe but mostly keeping an eye on her sister, almost as if she expects her to disappear any second.]

[Trying not to let her smile waver, because she's quite sure Wendy won't be here for long. But at least she's reassured that the others are alright - she can hang on as long as she knows that.]

Well...'ve made some good friends! Penny, Vivio...Penny's even teachin' me t'read. An' since the circus don' travel 've got lots more free time. I 'elp out with the little 'uns at the orphanage 'ere sometimes. An' I got a puppy now too. Called 'im Tiger. [Deliberately leaving out all the bad stuff that had happened.]

They do! 'cause sometimes children get brought 'ere too, an' they can't just stay on their own.

[She squeezes back, wondering how much to tell her. Wendy would realize, of course she would.]

Sometimes...weird stuff 'appens. They call 'em curses. Ain't always too bad, but sometimes it's scary...people get 'urt. If 'm not affected I just 'ide in the apartment with Tiger. Otherwise... [she shrugs]

An' some of he people 'ere ain't that good either.

I jus' try an' deal. Ain't been affected too badly so far. The worst's when I get turned back into a child again. Always think 'm lost an' spend ages lookin' for all of ya. Don' like rememberin' what it was like back then.

[Sighing, hanging her head for a moment.]

Not really. A while ago someone saw my face an' gave me a scare. Grabbed me an'...called me ugly. But 'e let me go without doin' anythin'. Beast was still 'ere back then. Gave 'im a right piece of 'er mind.

An' yeah, I guess. There's some people I can ask for 'elp if I need it.
