17 tightropes walked - accidental video/action

[Doll's walking through the City's streets, wrapped up warmly and busy getting things done while - she thinks - there's no curse. The past week or so had been terrible so now she's trying to forget all of that, throwing herself into buying presents for the friends she's made in the City.

Now and then she looks behind her to make sure Tiger's still following along, grinning to see him stop and sniff everything they come across.]

Hurry up, boy, don' get left behind!

((ooc: open for action/Network!))

[ Having finished her morning training, Vivio's jogging home when she notices Doll out and about as well. She calls out to her friend before heading over. ]

Freckles!

[But! Operating under an assumption that there was some proper conversing at that time, hello ooc note infringing into ic. Well before the party, Klartch had wanted to come along to see Syracuse for the day. After that, they window shop on the way back to the apartment.

Until, of course, Klartch makes a clumsy beeline for Tiger.]

Kla-- oh.

[Cat recognizes them, and waves, following the griffin.]

Hello Doll. Just looking right now.

[Simply because he can tell fire it won't burn and clothes not to shred from Klartch's claws, doesn't mean Cat is entirely confident that sort of thing will work for puppies. He applies the spell, but keeps on his metaphorical toes.

Klartch, much larger and easily circled, made little half hops with his front legs, pausing now and again to swipe a talon at the puppy - but never with the risk of actually connecting.]

What sort of things are you shopping for?

[The last time, Klartch had grasped quickly enough what he could and could not do, with a little help from Cat (who wasn't willing to have the lesson be as concrete as an injured puppy). But, given the griffin's youth and enthusiasm, Cat didn't quite trust him enough to be completely unsupervised.

More than enough, however, to get a good, wistful look at the packages.]

It's nice of you! How many people are you buying for?

[Klartch, presently oblivious of Cat's buried finance woes, scuttles back on the pavement in mock trepidation. Then, with a click of his beak, he made as if to run away.]

Well, he's lucky to have found such a good home.

How cute! I'd like to see that, sometime!

I agree, though. Animals are meant to run free.

Are you sure? I wouldn't want to intrude.
