[Doll's walking through the City's streets, wrapped up warmly and busy getting things done while - she thinks - there's no curse. The past week or so had been terrible so now she's trying to forget all of that, throwing herself into buying presents for the friends she's made in the City.
Now and then she looks behind her to make sure Tiger's still following along, grinning to see him stop and sniff everything they come across.]
Hurry up, boy, don' get left behind!

[action] YAY! more cute time
Date: 2009-12-13 02:20 pm (UTC)[She heads over towards then, and Tiger is busy rushing excitedly around his griffin friend, barking and rolling over, wanting to play.]
[action] \o/!
Date: 2009-12-13 10:41 pm (UTC)[Simply because he can tell fire it won't burn and clothes not to shred from Klartch's claws, doesn't mean Cat is entirely confident that sort of thing will work for puppies. He applies the spell, but keeps on his metaphorical toes.
Klartch, much larger and easily circled, made little half hops with his front legs, pausing now and again to swipe a talon at the puppy - but never with the risk of actually connecting.]
What sort of things are you shopping for?

Date: 2009-12-13 10:54 pm (UTC)[It made a change not to have to worry too much about money since her wages here were a lot better than back home and it makes her really happy that she's able to give something back to everyone who has kept her company in the City, especially since she'd ended up on her own.
In the meantime, Tiger is busy pretending to pounce, wagging his tail furiously. After the last time they'd played together he really liked the griffin, and Doll didn't see much reason to be worried. He definitely acted friendly enough.]
Got some things already! [she holds up the small bundle of packages she in her arms for him to see.]

Date: 2009-12-14 05:38 am (UTC)More than enough, however, to get a good, wistful look at the packages.]
It's nice of you! How many people are you buying for?
[Klartch, presently oblivious of Cat's buried finance woes, scuttles back on the pavement in mock trepidation. Then, with a click of his beak, he made as if to run away.]

Date: 2009-12-14 09:17 am (UTC)Least I can do for everyone who's been nice t'me 'ere. Quite a few, ain't sure exactly 'ow many... Since my brothers an' sisters ain't 'ere for me t'get stuff for, thought I might as well buy presents for all my friends.
[And Cat and Klartch have probably just added themselves to that list of friends without knowing it, even if she has absolutely no idea what to buy for a griffin.
She turns to watch Klartch and Tiger again, grinning when Tiger rolls over and plays dead so that Klartch wouldn't run away.]
They get along well, don' they?
