freckleddollWell...this is some way to celebrate bein' 'ere for a whole year. Can't believe it's been that long, even if it seems longer sometimes.
[She's sitting on a sofa with Tiger on her lap, trying to keep him from licking at the device and sounding a little bit bitter, unusually enough for her.] Shh, 's alright, boy.
Still can't understand what's 'appenin' exactly out there. Don't 'ave any intention of lookin' either. 's just safer, stayin' in until it's over when a curse is like this, an' 'opin' it can't get in at ya.
Everyone I know is somewhere safe, yeah?'xcept Anna...she didn't deserve to be sent back to all that.

It is a little messed up, isn't it? But in some ways, this place is better. I got a chance to be something of a friend with Anna. I never would've been able to do that back home.

It is...even with what 'appens 'ere, think my family'd be better off 'ere than back 'ome too. But I'm glad you got to spend time with Anna like that. She's a good person.

Just think they might like it 'ere...not 'avin' to travel all the time an' friendlier people than 'ome, gettin' to live in a real 'ouse an' all that.

I can definitely relate to that. It's nice being able to have a home to come back to. I really hope they show up one day, Doll.
