Well...this is some way to celebrate bein' 'ere for a whole year. Can't believe it's been that long, even if it seems longer sometimes.

[She's sitting on a sofa with Tiger on her lap, trying to keep him from licking at the device and sounding a little bit bitter, unusually enough for her.] Shh, 's alright, boy.

Still can't understand what's 'appenin' exactly out there. Don't 'ave any intention of lookin' either. 's just safer, stayin' in until it's over when a curse is like this, an' 'opin' it can't get in at ya.

Everyone I know is somewhere safe, yeah? 'xcept Anna...she didn't deserve to be sent back to all that.

When my friends were here, they told me that it wasn't very safe outside. We used to always go outside together since that was safer.

They're gone though...so I just haven't gone out much since then.

It ain't that bad, on the days that aren't curses. Seems a pity to be stuck indoors all the time like that.

Nah, I like it. Takin' Tiger out for walks to the gardens, or to the beach. Or meetin' people at the Welcome Center. Could show you around?

It would be nice if you could. I do miss going outside as often as I did at home.

Tiger's my puppy. An' yeah, wouldn't mind it at all! Even when I'm workin', 'm sure Penny - that's my roommate - wouldn't mind you stayin' with 'er for a while at the Welcome Center too.

But the City's really big an' there's lots of great places to visit.

That sounds like fun...I didn't know you worked though. Are you considered an adult then by the City?

'e ain't very tiger-like, really. Started more as a joke 'tween my sister an' me.

Oh, yeah, couldn't imagine not workin'. I 'ave a job at the circus. Was there even 'fore I knew this place paid for children. Wouldn't call myself a child anyway though, should be at least over eighteen by now.

I've been taking care of the two cats in my apartment since we got them.

Me too! We've got a lot of pets over 'ere. Maybe see if there's a pet shop where you could work, or an animal shelter?
